Profile

Ludwig is a 26 year old variety Twitch streamer and YouTuber who streams about 5 days a week. He is brand safe with a general age rating of between 13 to 15+. He is an upbeat and exciting streamer who has developed a dedicated following that supports him in almost anything he does. His peak viewership is around 200,000 (end of subathon), and at his lowest, he has 10,000 viewers. From this, you can assume that for almost any sponsored segment he does he will have at least 10,000 viewers and depending on the quality of the content, up to 200,000. Ludwig tends to do more interesting sponsored content than other streamers. For example with his sponsor Slim Jim (food brand), he does blindfolded taste tests with his roommates. This was a popular segment on both his Twitch and Youtube, getting about 500,000 views on Youtube and approximately 15,000 viewers on Twitch.
Ludwig gained the most attention during his subathon, which was an event he did where he streamed non stop for a month. In that time he gained the most subscriptions in a month in Twitch history (273,000) and turned himself from a well-known streamer to one of the most popular streamers on the platform. Apart from the subathon, he averages 30,000 subscriptions per month which makes him a top 10 subs channel on Twitch. While he regularly has fewer viewers than other large streamers he still gets more monthly subscriptions because he has a dedicated fan base and a large peripheral audience.
One of Ludwig’s first introductions into the streaming mainstream was during the Among Us trend. The time of Among us was an incredible time for unlikely collaborations. It brought together people who would never usually play/ stream together because the game needed to be played with 10 players. Ludwig became a popular Among us streamer because he was good at the game and knew how to make the most entertaining content out of it. He would play with popular streamers such as Disguised Toast, XQC, and Valkyrae which exposed him to a slightly different audience than his own. While it was a different audience there was still enough crossover appeal to draw more viewers to his channel, which for a while turned him from a 10,000 average viewership to about 20,000.

A big part of the appeal of Ludwig is the fact that he makes his streams feel like events. He records his Youtube videos while streaming which makes his streams feel like well prepared and exciting Youtube videos but live. This is a unique thing that Ludwig does that not a lot of other creators do. That is why out of all the top streamers on Twitch he has one of the largest and most successful Youtube channels. Ludwig is a smart businessman and a clever creator who will only continue to grow as a streamer and Youtube creator.
